  • To provide a challenging and rewarding academic environment and experience, that well-prepares our youth for tomorrow’s challenges and gives them a significant competitive advantage in the society.
  • To awaken an attitude of excellence and success in all aspects of their lives.

Academics

The curriculum followed at Everest Academy is aligned with the objectives established by Texas Education Agency (TEA). These objectives are based on Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) directives for all secular subjects. All textbooks with the exception of Arabic and Islamic studies are approved by the TEA; and are comparable to those currently being used in the FBISD Public School District. The Arabic and Islamic Studies Curriculum is structured and designed specifically for young Muslims in America.

Student academic performance is closely monitored and charted utilizing various assessment tools such as the state-mandated TAKS, IOWA Test of Basic Skills, and Developmental Reading Assessment (DRA). Additionally, after each 9 week quarter, IEIT also administers a district-wide assessment test (DCA) to 3rd-8th grade students. The purpose of all these assessments is to monitor student achievement so that instruction could be transmitted according to the strengths and needs of all students.
