Everest Academy is a full-time private Islamic school. It is an affiliate of Darul Arqam Schools and falls under the jurisdiction of both IEIT- Islamic Education Institute of Texas, and ISGH- Islamic Society of Greater Houston. It has been established in 2006, and located at 610 Brand Lane, Stafford, Texas, near State Highway 90 and FM1092. The 6000+ square feet state of the art, modern facility is built specifically for an Elementary and Middle School Institution and furnished with all the modern amenities including computer ports, internet, audio, video and visual teaching aids. We aim to provide a challenging and rewarding academic environment for all students, enabling them to acquire excellent academic skills and Islamic morals so they become successful individuals prepared to meet the challenges of our changing world.

Academics
Everest Academy follows a curriculum that is aligned with the State of Texas, Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) objectives for all secular subjects. All textbooks with the exception of Arabic and Islamic studies are State of Texas Education Agency-approved. These textbooks have the latest TEKS/TAKS directives and are identical to those currently being used in FBISD public school districts.
After each 9 week quarter, IEIT shall administer a district-wide assessment test (DCA) to 3rd-8th grade students. This exam is used to monitor achievement as well as prepare students for the TAKS and IOWA standardized exams.
The Arabic curriculum is based on the textbook series by Egyptian Arabist, Dr. Hosny Kandil. This highly-touted program is optimized for non-Arabic speaking students.
