Character education plays an important role in student development. At Everest Academy we place a strong emphasis on educating our students on the importance of character and providing them with the skills to determine the appropriate behavior for any given situation.

Each month a specific trait is focused on school wide. Teachers incorporate the character traits into lessons and students may present writings or projects based on the trait of the month.

Parents are informed of the trait for the month through our weekly newsletter and tips are provided to help encourage their children to practice these traits at home. This parent and school combination is highly effective in reinforcing these traits to our students.
