   School Dress Code

The uniform requirements are as follows:

Boys: White t-shirt with collar and blue pants, white socks, closed-toed shoes.

Girls: White blouse, navy jacket/tunic, navy pants, white scarves, white socks, closed-toed shoes - no high heels, no sandals.

School has made arrangements to embroider the Everest Academy monogram on uniform shirts. Parents are requested to drop off their ward’s shirts to the School Office , so that the monogram could be embroidered. This service will be complimentary for students registering in the first semester. For registrations thereafter, that is, from January 2008, there will be a charge of 4$ per shirt.

For boys and girls, the school attire should be selected with modesty in mind; and should be loose fitting and comfortable. Girls are encouraged to wear a scarf to start good Islamic habits. Teachers are responsible to enforce the dress code and be good examples themselves.

Hair should be clean and well groomed. Half shaves or shaven designs of hair are not acceptable. Ladies are requested to cover themselves properly when they come in to pick up their children.

Pre-Kindergarten Dress Code Policy:

School uniform is not compulsory for our pre-kindergarten students. They are, however, required to adhere to the basic dress code policy for all grades.

• The school attire should be modest and comfortable. • Clothing should preferably not have any pictures or images of any kind and inappropriate language.

• Closed-toed shoes must be easy to wear and not have any laces. Velcro shoes are ideal.

• Shirts must be either short or long sleeved. Tank tops or spaghetti straps are not allowed.
